There are 10 Fellowships proposed during the financial year 2023–24 for the Research Associate post and the area of research is Plant Systematics/Taxonomy and Plant Conservation.

The Starting date for the application is 6th April 2023 and the last date for the application is 5th May 2023.

Job Location & Period
The Fellows will work for a period of two to three years at the regional centers of BSI located across the country.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate with Ph.D. in Botany from a recognized University in India with research experience in Plant taxonomy/floristics, and in any relevant fields are eligible to apply this fellowship program.

Financial Assistance
The financial assistance will be Rs. 47,000/- for First year, Rs. 49,000/- for Second year and Rs. 54,000/- for Third year.
