Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR, invites applications for admission to the Ph.D. program for the coming semester (Aug 2023) in Life Sciences / Bioinformatics.

Areas of research

There are 17 different focus areas of research in Ph.D. program like Cancer Biology, Cell Signaling, Epigenetics, Neuroscience, etc.

Application deadline & fees

The last date for online application is 30th June 2023 and application fees is Rs. 1,200 (Non-refundable). Candidates can pay the fees by credit/debit card.

eligibility criteria

For Life Sciences: Master’s degree in any area of Biological Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks For Bioinformatics: Master’s degree in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Engineering/Medicine or equivalent with good programming knowledge and a minimum of 60% marks.

Application process

The mode of application is ONLINE and candidates can apply through official website. After the online submission, a copy of the completed application form should be sent by Email to anil.shukla@snu.edu.in

selection process

Selection process will be through written test and interview. Shortlisted candidates will be called tentatively on 17th – 19th July 2023 for the exam and interview.

financial assistance

Candidates can get a monthly stipend of ₹40,000 for the first two years and ₹45,000 for the next three years.
