Review:
This cell biology textbook is a conducive source of cellular and Molecular Biology. It consists of four sections in which the first part contains information about the chemistry and the evolution of cells with different methodologies to understand the basics of Cell and Molecular Biology.
The second part of this cell biology textbook deals with the central dogma of the cell including DNA, RNA, and protein, it also deals with the structure and function of biomolecules. Which is about core chapters describing the organizational structure and function of cells. The 3rd part deals with nuclear cytoplasm and remaining cell organelles.
While part 4 consists of cell regulation and cell cycle. This life science book also contained a question and summary for each chapter. The illustrated experiment enhances the reader’s experience of application in clinical science.
This is an excellent cell biology textbook amongst all other books of Cell Biology to provide a basic understanding of all the processes of the cell. This book is a very good choice for CSIR NET JRF Life science students to start studying cell and Molecular Biology. Review:
The Highlighting point of this cell biology pdf book is efficient and effective information that strengthens the connection between the concept and experiment. It includes arts and new scientific illustrations which make things easier to understand & memorise the experimental part which mostly CSIR exam focuses on. The special mention point in the book is chapter no. 17 The Immune Response which has to explain in-depth (page No. 661 ) with a well-labelled, coloured, and catchy diagram.
CANCER which is considered as the Hot spot point for CSIR NET Life Science Exam, especially in Part ‘C’ has been divided into 18 distinct subpoints in the 16th chapter with all required charts, diagrams, experimental pathways, and their references. This makes this cell biology pdf book mandatory for CSIR NET studies in life science. A detailed and complete Glossary (32 pages) is an add-on thing in the book, which helps students understand scientific terminologies.
The latest edition of this cell biology textbook shows a good balance between theoretical concepts and experiments as compared to the rest of the books in cell biology pdf form. The experiments are used in the middle of the concept so that it would be easy to understand. Overall, a decent cell biology textbook with good theory and the experimental part that CSIR NET JRF Life science students refer to cell and molecular biology.
