The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 aims to simplify this process by providing a single-window opportunity to students seeking admission to a postgraduate programme in any central or participating university or institution in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been tasked with examining on behalf of the Ministry of Education and UGC.

CUET (PG) – 2023 Eligibility:
Before applying for the examination, it is essential to meet the eligibility criteria. The following are the basic requirements:
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- The applicant must have completed their bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category) and 45% marks (for SC/ST/PwD categories).
- The applicant must meet the age limit prescribed by the university or institution to which they seek admission.
It is important to note that these are the basic eligibility criteria, and institutions may have additional requirements. Candidates are advised to check the Information Bulletin hosted on the NTA website for more details.
Applying for CUET (PG) – 2023
Online applications for CUET (PG) – 2023 will be accepted from 20.03.2023 to 19.04.2023. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of NTA (https://cuet.nta.nic.in) and following the instructions provided therein.
Applicants are advised to keep the following documents ready before starting the application process:
Documents Required:
- Scanned copy of their recent photograph (10-200 KB)
- Scanned copy of their signature (4-30 KB)
- Scanned copy of their category certificate, if applicable (50-300 KB)
- Scanned copy of their PwD certificate, if applicable (50-300 KB)
- Credit/Debit card, Net banking, or UPI details for payment of the application fee

- General/OBC-NCL/EWS – INR 1000/-
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender – INR 500/-
Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying, as no further correction window will be provided. Any incorrect or incomplete information provided in the application form will result in disqualification.
Scheme of Examination for CUET (PG) – 2023
The examination for CUET (PG) – 2023 will be conducted in online mode, and the duration of the exam will be 120 minutes (2 hours). The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will be conducted in English only. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

- From the above subjects/languages, the candidate can choose a maximum of 10 subjects from all three Sections as given in Annexure 1.
- The examination will be conducted on multiple days in three shifts, depending on the number of Candidates and Subject choices.
