ISRO, or the Indian Space Research Organization, is the national space agency of India and is primarily responsible for India’s space program. National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the constituent Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Programme.

Online applications invited by the NRSC from 25 March 2023 for the 34 posts as temporary research personnel i.e. JRF, RS, RA, PS-I and PA-I positions.

Vacancies And Eligibility Criteria : NRSC Recruitment 2023

There are total 34 vacancies for the positions of Junior Research Fellow, Research Scientist, Project Associate-I, and Project Scientist-I.

ME/M.Tech/ M.Sc. Tech or equivalent degree should be in First class with a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 Point scale and M.Sc should be in First class with a minimum of 65% marks (aggregate of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.

BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent degree for the postcode of PA01 & PA02 should be in First Class with an aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.

Pre-qualification of BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent degree, wherever applicable, should also be in First Class with an aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale. Further, B.Sc also should be in First Class.

Place of posting :

The selected candidates are likely to be posted at NRSC – Earth Station, Shadnagar campus, Rangareddy
District, Telangana State or at NRSC, Balanagar, Hyderabad. However, NRSC reserves the right to post the
candidates anywhere in India as and when required.

Note* – The Positions advertised are purely on temporary basis for a period of one year or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

ISRO Recruitment 2023: Application And Selection Process

• The application for on-line registration will be hosted on the NRSC website between 25.03.2023 (0000 hrs) and 07.04.2023 (2359 hrs).
• Candidates May visit the Official Website to register their applications on-line.
• Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID and Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application compulsorily. Any request for change of e-mail id will not be entertained.
• The applicants need not send any documents such as print out of online application, copies of certificates/mark lists in proof of educational qualification, work experience, age etc. by post.
• A duly constituted Screening Committee shall screen the applications received for the posts and candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
• If large number of applications received for a particular post, NRSC may conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) for shortlisting the candidates
• The call letters for the interview to the short-listed candidates will be sent only by e-mail.

Only passed out candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates waiting for final result need not apply.

General Conditions :

• The candidates who are allowed for Interview after successful document verification will alone be paid eligible Travelling Allowance.
• The selected JRFs are encouraged to register for PhD from recognized Universities and take up relevant research topic benefitting the individual and NRSC. However, they have to work extra time to complete the PhD research.
• Those intending to apply for more than one Post should submit separate application for each post through online.
• Incomplete applications like those without photograph, signature, mark-sheets, Caste/Category Certificate, Proof of Date of Birth, will be rejected outright.
